Big update for Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition

I have fond recollections of the Chrono series. After two decades on the original Playstation, the time-traveling sequel Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition was finally released on PC last year but the technical issues plagued the current adaptation. Square Enix is updating Radical Dreamers with a slew of updates later this month, including a faster frame rate, bug fixes, and changes to Pip’s growth system.

Square Enix made the statement on Twitter for the update, which doesn’t have an official date yet.

Chrono Cross is a role-playing game that spans time and space, spanning across two interconnected parallel universes. The game tells the narrative of Serge, a young guy who is transferred to another realm where he meets Kid, a thief on the hunt for the Frozen Flame, a precious item.

Aside from the technical issues, I like the colourful scenery from the game, wacky cast of characters and wonderful music. Hopefully the update will address some of the performance difficulties we had.
