The stories from the original game and its spinoffs are combined in Ever Crisis, a Final Fantasy 7 remake with less graphically demanding visuals for the mobile platform. The game will be available for free to play when it debuts on iOS and Android devices with a release date sometime in 2023. Square Enix has not disclosed any intentions to release the game on any other platform at this time.
The beta will take place in the summer of 2023, according to the official Square Enix Twitter account. Check out the trailer down below.
The action combat in the remake and the original Final Fantasy 7 chapters will be similar, as shown in the above Square Enix trailer video. It is unknown at this time whether a turn-based substitute will be offered to make the game more faithful to the original. The famous Nibelheim scene with Sephiroth was also briefly seen at the end of the trailer.
There will be some backstory for FF7: The First Soldier in Ever Crisis. Beyond what existed in FF7, the game offers unique dungeons to explore and battles to participate in. Ever Crisis sounds like a very inventive remake, comparable to FF7 Remake. It is encouraging to hear that it continues to utilise well-known symphonic arrangements from the original title.
